Buying a carpet, choosing how and where to lay it down, enjoying the carpet. Your experience with your rug is just a fraction of its total journey. We can be certain about a few things. For example, where it was knotted, approximately when it was knotted and how long this approximately took. For most carpets, everything in between the knotting-process and our warehouse is unknown. The journey each rug has been trough, where has it been, who was it made for or why did it end up here? This is its story, fully open for own interpratation. We can only guess where it has been and what it has seen.
This is what its about, with each moment you enjoy it, every story you imagine, your carpet gains character. It is not just a rug, but a story. Your story.
